FISHING INFO and PRICES

The Don Manuel is equipped with outriggers, down-riggers, Penn, Shimano & Okuma Reels & Rods, fighting chair and two professional crewmen for your fishing adventure. We can accommodate a maximum of 6 people comfortably with 4 fishing at one time. If you want to keep what you catch, Danny will clean your fish for you on the boat. Catch and release is practiced for Sailfish, Marlin and Rooster fish.

We provide on the boat tackle, bait, crew of 2, fresh tropical fruits, soda, beer, bottled water, a variety of snacks. If there is something you would prefer on the boat, please let us know (diet soda, vegetarian etc.). You will only need to bring sunscreen & hat and a light long sleeved shirt is always recommended.

FULL DAY FISHING - 8.5 hours
Full day is $400 and departure time is up to you. We recommend leaving around  7:00 a.m. Lunch is provided.
HALF DAY FISHING - 5.5 hours
Half day rate is $300
SNORKELING / FISHING COMBINATION (no extra cost)
If you would like to go snorkeling the last hour or two of your fishing trip, please let us know and we would be happy to take you to one of the many beaches in the Papagayo Gulf. We will provide snorkel gear for you, just let us know your foot sizes.
FLY FISHING
We can take you fly fishing to the mangroves/estuary at high tide for snook or to one of the many beaches in Santa Rosa National Park. Many of these beaches are only accessible by boat. We only have fly-fishing lures so it would be necessary for you to bring your gear.

Tips to the crew is not included in our prices but are accepted and greatly appreciated. 10-20% of total price of the trip is customary, depending on the service.

When booking trips through your hotel, you can expect to pay a commission which is added to your price, so therefore, you will be paying more.
